Most houses in the US use either 15 or 20-AMP circuits. Calculating the load for a circuit is easy. We use 120V in the US for most plugs unless it’s for an oven or a dryer. So since you are plugging into a normal plug, it’s for sure a 120V circuit. So say it’s 15AMP (it will show a 15 on the circuit in the circuit box); you take 15x120= 1800 watts worth of load. The 20000 Series Electronic Smart Toilet Seat has a max load of 1270 Watts if all things are going at once, like the heated water, heated seat, etc. If the total usage of electronics on the circuit is using more than 1800 watts at a time, the lights will flicker.
